Meet Megan McDonald!Hi yall! My name is Megan McDonald, and I am a rising senior at Rhodes. I am a Business Administration major, interested in Finance. I am from Charlotte, NC, but this summer I am staying in Memphis and interning full time at Morgan Keegan for the Retail Fixed Income Trading Desk. I have learned so much this summer and really enjoy the people I work with, but getting up at 6:00 am everyday is NOT fun! :o)
This past fall, I was lucky enough to spend the semester in Perugia, Italy. I had such a great time travelling and learning the language. It was really fun to be able to meet up with several Tri Delta sisters in Florence.
I am also the Membership Development Chairman, so in addition to serving on our Standards Committee, I get to plan all the fun Deltas-Only events! Last semester we had a cookout, went to see Legally Blonde the Musical, and played paintball! I am really excited to plan some more events for the fall!
This summer, besides working, I am going on a family vacation to St. Petersburg, FL and also going to San Diego, CA to visit my brother and sister-in-law who is about to have a baby! I am SO excited to be an Aunt!! I am having fun living in my house with my Delta sisters Meredith Bond, Hunter Utkov, Sarah Crowley, and Mathilde Semmes. We are enjoying watching Royal Pains and the Bachelorette religiously, and cooking lots of chicken. I am looking forward to school starting to be re-united with my pledge class that has been divided the past year by everyone going abroad! It is going to be so fun! I can't wait for recruitment and to have an AMAZING new pledge class of baby deltas! Have a great summer!
